Meet The Team
Marc’s practice focuses on wealth transfer planning, estate planning, business succession planning, and probate and trust administration for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families. In doing so, Marc carefully considers the tax and liability elements of each client’s specific personal and financial goals, with an emphasis on asset protection and the preservation of generational wealth.
Marc graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics. In 2011, he graduated with honors with a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and after a brief stint in private practice went on to earn a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from NYU School of Law in 2013.
Prior to joining Duggan Bertsch, LLC in early 2023, Marc gained rigorous and invaluable experience practicing in the Florida office of a Tier 1, nationally ranked law firm based out of New York and then serving as a Director in the wealth planning group for a global leader in tax, consulting, and assurance. Marc has advised clients in their roles as both beneficiaries and fiduciaries of estates and trusts of all sizes, most of which require the efficient navigation and implementation of complex personal and financial factors.
Having previously practiced in both Texas and Florida, Marc now practices in Northwest Arkansas, where he lives with his wife and five children. Marc works closely with his colleagues in the Illinois, Florida, and California offices of Duggan Bertsch, LLC, and aims to bring the sophistication he has attained over his career to families throughout Arkansas, Florida, and Texas.
Marc possesses an unwaveringly positive demeanor and friendly nature. When he is away from the office, Marc loves to read, travel, and spend time with his wife and five children.
