Meet The Team
Kevin Heavey is the Chief Financial Officer at Duggan Bertsch, LLC. He is the lead professional within the Firm’s Finance Department, providing counsel, leadership, training, support, feedback, and encouragement to department personnel. Kevin directs and maintains responsibility for the financial functions of the Firm and is a key strategic business advisor. He oversees and participates in cash management, budgeting, billing, collections, vendor payments, payroll, audits, and financial/performance reporting & analysis.
Prior to working at Duggan Bertsch, Kevin was a Director of Finance at one of the largest global law firms headquartered in Chicago where he led various departments including policies & procedures, internal audit, financial planning & analysis, and partnership accounting.
In 1994, Kevin graduated from Northern Illinois University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in accounting. He is a CPA in Illinois. Kevin is also a Certified Internal Auditor.
