Meet The Team
Kara A. Wenzl is an attorney in the Estate Planning practice group and represents individuals, families, and business owners, with an emphasis on the private client. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, wealth transfer planning, business and corporate law, wealth protection, trust and estate administration, charitable giving and private foundations, and succession planning. She regularly counsels clients on ways to implement comprehensive estate and business entity planning, the creation of family office structures and vehicles, general corporate matters, and tax compliance and planning.
Kara earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Culture from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, graduating cum laude with a Certificate in Tax Law in 2018. Since graduating, she has been recognized by her peers in the legal community and has been named a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
In her free time, Kara enjoys spending time in the city with her husband and rescue dog.
