Russell Q. Thirsk, JD, LLM
Russell Thirsk counsels and advises clients in the areas of corporate and business law, taxation, and estate and wealth planning. Russ’ practice encompasses both domestic and international matters and Russ pays special attention to the needs of each individual client, working with them to craft comprehensive solutions tailored to their specific concerns and needs. Having worked both in private practice and as in-house counsel, Russ brings a unique perspective to his practice and uses his broad experience to serve his clients as an outside in-house counsel, advising on a wide variety of transactional matters important to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Russ earned his Master of Laws in Taxation (Honors) from Northwestern University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
Russ is licensed to practice in Illinois, Tennessee, and Kansas (inactive).
