Richard is an associate in Duggan Bertsch’s litigation department and sport & entertainment department.  He brings a wide-ranging background that spans domestic relations, commercial litigation, real estate, business law, and even a stint in motion picture talent representation and entertainment.  Richard has also clerked for the Supreme Court of Alabama with Hon. Justice James Gregory Shaw, and for the Cook Judicial Circuit Court, Chancery Division with Hon. Darryl B. Simko (Ret.).

Richard earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  In law school, he earned a certificate in advocacy, a certificate in child and family law, and also founded the first-in-the-nation student-run law school podcast.  Richard is licensed to practice in Illinois as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
