Meet The Team
Jessica Dadas-Schulze is a Partner in Duggan Bertsch in the Trust & Estate Planning Group, and works closely with the Healthcare and Corporate teams to serve client matters. She advises clients on a wide range of trust and estate administration, taxes, succession planning, and asset protection. She works with individuals and their families, as well as business owners, to provide personalized legal advice designed to address the specific needs and objectives of clients and their families.
Prior to joining Duggan Bertsch, Jessica was the owner and principal attorney of Schulze Law & Consulting PLLC, which she formed in 2013. Over the past decade, Jessica expanded her practice to provide outside general counsel services to businesses spanning diverse industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, construction, and real estate. She also has an extensive background in advising and negotiating complex estate planning matters, involving matters of asset protection and trust funding. Jessica is actively involved managing probate court matters, including guardianships, conservatorships, decedent’s estates, and trust litigation.
Having started her legal career with Plante & Moran’s Tax Office, her experience there has proven valuable when advising and balancing the legal and business needs of individual and corporate clients. She leverages her extensive business and in-house public accounting experience to advise clients on entity formation, operating agreements, corporate governance, unique regulatory matters & compliance, real estate transactions, contracts, IRS audit and dispute resolution, asset protection, and mediation. Additionally, Jessica served as General Counsel to a national medical aesthetic service company, responsible for 270 offices leased throughout 26 states and Puerto Rico, while concurrently serving as acting Vice President of HR, overseeing 1200 employees. During her tenure, the company was acquired in two separate asset sales, and one 363 sale.
Jessica graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s in International Business Relations from the James Madison Honors College. After graduation, Jessica went on to get her Law Degree from Thomas Cooley Law School, and to pursue her Master’s in Taxation Law from Wayne State University. She is admitted to practice in Michigan and is pending admission in Ohio.
Jessica received DBusiness Magazine’s Top Corporate Counsel award in 2024, 2023, and 2022 for her work with CAVU International and CAVU Consulting dba Construction. She has her certification in Construction Management from Procore, and has extensive knowledge of Federal Procurement and Government Small Business Set-Asides, from the initial certification process for the entity to the actual final award and closeout of such projects.
