Timothy Liam Epstein, Chair of the firm's Sports Law practice group, moderated a panel discussion at the 14th Annual Fordham Sports Law Symposium in New York City. Tim moderated a discussion on "The Legality and Impact of Age Restrictions in Professional Sports," which will incorporate the legal ramifications of newly implemented minimum age requirements in professional sports. The discussion also addressed inconsistencies among the professional sports leagues, as well as the impact of endorsements and potential business deals on pre-professional teenage athletes. Among the panelists were representatives from the Boston Red Sox and the New Jersey Nets. The symposium took place at Fordham Law School on Friday, March 26, 2010.
