Timothy Liam Epstein, chair of Duggan Bertsch's Sports Law & Litigation groups, presented at the 2011 DePaul Sports Law Symposium on March 4, 2011. The symposium, “A Rule is a Rule: Compliance in the World of Sports,” explored how everyone in sports must comply with legal rules and standards, and what they should do going forward. Tim was part of a panel that focused on compliance with rules, and whether they are federal laws, state laws, or bylaws within an organization as they relate to collegiate sports.
